Two7 Posted March 1, 2023 Posted March 1, 2023 I think I have successfully booked myself on the Spring Sprint at Blyton 13th and 14th May. WSCC speed series Class 2B (road car kit over 1800cc) . Doing a track day up there this Sunday (weather permitting) to remind myself what the track is like. Looking forward to seeing you all in May. Quote
Two7 Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 I have paid for the two days ( next weekend) in the regs it says you do an online sign in and watch a video, does anybody know how that works ? I can't find anything on the Longton website. Quote
S2T Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 When Longton ran the sprint at Anglesey in April, the week before we received an email with final instructions, car number allocation, running order etc. An online signing on link and an invitation to participate in a Drivers Briefing via zoom or teams. I havent received the email for the Blyton event so can only assume it will be out in the next 24/48 hours 1 Quote

Two7 Posted May 10, 2023 Posted May 10, 2023 All signed on line and got whatsapp ready. As you say camping may be interesting, looks like you can reverse trailers on to the grass , I wonder if they will allow the back end of a front wheel drive van as well, in which case I could park with the van behind my westy in the 3m wide slot, with both vehicles pointing forwards. S2T Posted May 10, 2023 Posted May 10, 2023 I can see it being carnage at departure time given everyones trailers will be pointing the wrong way so you will need to pull the trailer onto the main strip and then load your Westie....this times 70+ cars Quote
Two7 Posted May 10, 2023 Posted May 10, 2023 yep, I agree. I have a 7 hour journey to get back home so will probably stay Sunday night if they let me. Quote
Terry Everall Posted May 10, 2023 Author Posted May 10, 2023 I have contacted LDMC to express concerns about the parking of trailers , race car and tow vehicle/motorhome etc Quote
