Where do I post about blats I am doing??

Hi all. I am newish to this forum and have to say I'm struggling to navigate it a bit (it's me not you!)

If I plan a trip out in the Westie it's often short notice so I'm usually alone. Getting together with others for a blat I have found is about as easy as getting that last bit of Marmite out of the jar!

If I wanted to post about going out and looking for others who are available or fancy a meet up, where do I post it please?

PS while I'm at it, what is 'item prefix' all about just below the 'tags' box while I'm writing this?

You could post in events, here:

When planning a run, there's nothing wrong even, with posting in the Start Line, especially if there's not much advance warning.

Whereas, after you've been(!), for the bigger trips, here, is the place to tell everyone about it and give advice on places to visit, routes to drive, etc.

Also, look out for any nearby local Area activity, (though I suspect where you are is quite close to one of the Areas we're currently looking for a new AO for.)

Sorry, not sure, I'm not seeing it.

Hmm, it only appears once you've added some tags, when starting a new thread, and the only option I see in the drop down list is "tag". Honestly, I don't know!

Yep, it's only there once tags have been added, I've never seen it anywhere before tbh.

Thanks for the advice Dave, much appreciated. Which area is it that requires an AO? Chris Broster is our local guy who I hope to meet sometime this year. I'm already on the Bath and Bristol WSCC WhatsApp group so I'll definitely let this guys know if I'm off out.
