Flying Carrot Steve
Yep you really should always use spigot rings if the wheel centre bore and hub are different sizes! Dangerous not to as Naranja_Al says.

Dangerous not to as Naranja_Al says. This is only true for hub-centric wheel fittings, lots of cars were designed for stud-centric wheels , MG Midget hubs as used on westfield 11s are stud centric where the wheel is located by the taper on the wheel nut .

Two7
Ah that makes sense as the ford wheels have tapered holes and cone nuts, I assume a bit belt and braces having spigot ring and tapper cone

I'll have to check as now I'm doubting myself 😂

FWIW; I've never had anything but the tapered wheel nuts on any of mine, including when I've had factory supplied wheels for the car, and never had an issue as a result. Two7
5 minutes ago, Two7 said: My omex itb kit arrived today. Pre assembled and looking very smart. It has the o ring gaskets for the manifold and topright throttle linkage. As it comes from omex it has the all important tps sensor adaptor cable, so plug and play with omex loom. Now I need to get the garage reorganised so I can do the open heart surgery on the engine and possibly the bonnet fenestration. Will keep you all posted.

Euan Hoosearmy
New pedal box cover from Carbon NV. Needs trimming to size, so a good excuse to go and buy some cutting tools and an air die-grinder. Original cover was riveted and glued down so got a "bit" bent when I removed it to make changing the master cylinder a bit easier. Wiring loom went through a hole in it too! Certainly wasn't installed with any thought of future removal. 2

Frog tape on surface for drilling holes too

Andrzej
Today and in last few days postie brought the tools I should have bought years ago. Maybe my wrists would be not so painfull today (air rivet tool! ) and every trackday I would not so worry re fuel leak (this really can reduce fun of trackday if someone like me thinks what can go wrong maybe fuel leak and fire... Maybe because I was witness of few car fire on track , and me experiencing fuel or coolant leak both from worm type and bolt type clamps . Hope those Oetiker with some Gates barricade hoses will do the job once forever.

Hope no need to use it too often 90% of joy of open car seems to be gone with that. But supouse it better than to drive beeing soaked. Need to figure out where to attach door strap, how its soupoused to be attached ? (I got rid of those aluminium vinyl covered inside side panels, propably originaly there is a place for button-clip?)
