I remember years ago, the first year that Toblerone did the really massive bars for Christmas (about a yard long and 10lb in weight) I bought one for the wife.  I wrapped it up and put it under the tree, a parcel really obviously Toblerone shaped.  She went around for weeks saying to people "I don't know what David's bought me.  It's like a Toblerone but really big." People would say, "maybe it's a Toblerone" but she'd answer, "no it's like a Toblerone but really really really big."

 

It was hilarious.

A few bits and pieces for me over the last few days.

 

I need to save a bit of distance on the steering wheel to give me more arm room, and found a Springalex boss which saves me a cm or so. Also some switch guards which came from the US (couldn’t find any in stock in UK) and a DPST switch for my hazards. I also got a 180W indicator relay to replace the old 30W jobbie I had. I’m sure that’s way more than needed but my hazards are now blinking again 👍

Maybe I've rich running due to a faulty FPR? We will see.

Ready for a bit of a rewire in the new year. (no idea why it’s upside down).

New 9 inch puller fan plus brackets and controller from Revotec to go onto the XI's radiator.

 

Should work more efficiently than the awful bracket that the kit comes with that blocks 30% of the surface area.

 

Brackets not fully fitted at this point - just positioned it all on the rad for photo attention.
