I had a mk2 XR2 before those. Was the Mk1 a Supersport or XR2 Robin ? It was a SuperSport, my first proper car, followed by 2 brand new XR2s. A 1986 and 1988. 1 Quote

Peter (Monty) Posted yesterday at 13:52 Posted yesterday at 13:52 PDM32 has arrived back from repair at AiM, ready to go back in the car. Although it was annoying that it needed repairing, I think the repair process with AiM was extremely straightforward. 2 Quote

Porsche 968 - easily the most reliable car I've ever owned Smart Car - I think the engine recalls got into double figures Mazda MX5 - fantastic car but turned into a brown doily Audi A3 - not worth anything but won't die Westie 😁 4 Quote
Rob Hunter - Club Secretary Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago My history is full of horrific reliability, a few car crashes, being seduced by looks over function, massive expense, and desperately high levels of maintenance..... Oh, I forgot we were talking about cars for a moment! 😂 Quote
Flying Carrot Steve Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago I've had a few interesting cars over the years, notable ones being a Ford Corsair 1700 V4 with column shift, my Elan +2S 130 rare 4 speed model, a London Cab FX4 and a TX1, several mk 1 Escorts, mk2, 3, 4 and 5 Cortinas, an XK and an early X5, multiple kit cars and plenty more I can't even remember. Oh yeah, my 1.9 205 GTi was an epic little car. 1 Quote

Tim Sideways Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago In the absence of the real thing, the postman bought this the other day. Obviously it’s the Caterham kit, but as it’s yellow and black I had to have it. Rejigged it so the exhaust exits on the correct side (Zetec) and lost all the Caterham badging and I’ll probably make a windscreen for it, but it’s pretty close to what we’ll be driving in a couple of weeks (hopefully!) 9 Quote
