I'm not saying I'm archaic or owt but when I hear CAN and BUS I think of beans and the number 47 into town.

Since I'm currently fighting my way through the tangle of wires created by the previous builder — and myself (me from a few years ago :) ) — I can see that such a device, with a single relay box for up to eight outputs and no separate wiring for the control switches, must greatly simplify the construction of the electrical system.

As I understand it, from the relay box you’d run one wire to the dipped beam, another to the high beam, a third to the left indicator, a fourth to the right one, a fifth to the reverse light, a sixth to the fog light, a seventh perhaps to a manual radiator fan switch, and an eighth, for example, to the heater fan.

Just out of curiosity — are those buttons illuminated so you can tell when a given function is active?

The steering wheel buttons can be back-lit,  but only for night time visibility. The active circuits would normally use the standard dash telltales.  You can fit an illuminated dash CAN keypad though, which does light up brighter on the active circuits (there can be up to 14 of those)

Edit to add a reminder that WSCC members have a 10% discount on my products since the whole business came about through this great club 💙
