Android tablet so it can be used for anything really.  Im just using it to monitor the sensors that are used for the engine protection feature of the ECU so if protection kicks in I can easily see why.

I'm about to replace my old front 185/60/13 R888 with 205/60/13 R888R. They still grip OK on a dry road - you're welcome to try those out if you want

Ultimately, grip isn't only about the size of the contact patch, but tyre temperature is also involved, together with many other parameters.

I've seen many schools of thought, on track most sevens fit large tyres as it is easier to warm them up, but on the road a smaller tyre has probably the edge, especially semislicks, as you can't usually warm them up properly.

Alloy oil cap which I got powder coated to match the cam cover washers. Local wheels refurbisher did not even charge for it. Just put it in the oven with other bits

Where did you get the alloy cap from? I've been looking for one for my Zetec but have yet to find one I like, or that fits tbh.

Ah yes, I've seen that one myself but didn't think it looked like it would fit mine, the thread bit is different I think. I'll go check because I could easily be mistaken.

It's more of a spiral channel than a thread. 1/4 lock idea. I checked mine sealed first before I got it powder coated. Just wipe some oil on the o ring before fitting. Mine engine is a 2.0 LTR Zetec blacktop.

Same as me but turbo so should be fine. They only have red in stock atm though, so will wait until the others come back in.

Turns out I was correct, mine is different. I wonder why that is then?

That must be very old oil, mine is crystal clear still. All the more reason to clean away the shame! 😂

Finally decided to upgrade my front brakes with the Wilwood kit from Rally Design using 260mm vented discs. Forgot to order the new hoses so not going on just yet!
