Im just using it to monitor the sensors that are used for the engine protection feature of the ECU so if protection kicks in I can easily see why. 1 Quote

They still grip OK on a dry road - you're welcome to try those out if you want 1 Quote
LoneWolf Posted August 14 Posted August 14 17 hours ago, Flying Carrot Steve said: But smaller contact patch so potentially less grip? It's a complex thing I reckon, tyre choice. So many variables to weigh up, some good on one side, some good on the other. Ultimately, grip isn't only about the size of the contact patch, but tyre temperature is also involved, together with many other parameters. I've seen many schools of thought, on track most sevens fit large tyres as it is easier to warm them up, but on the road a smaller tyre has probably the edge, especially semislicks, as you can't usually warm them up properly. 2 Quote

Ansoeb Posted Tuesday at 10:41 Posted Tuesday at 10:41 Alloy oil cap which I got powder coated to match the cam cover washers. Local wheels refurbisher did not even charge for it. Just put it in the oven with other bits 7 Quote

I've been looking for one for my Zetec but have yet to find one I like, or that fits tbh. Quote

I'll go check because I could easily be mistaken. Quote

Just wipe some oil on the o ring before fitting. Mine engine is a 2.0 LTR Zetec blacktop. 1 Quote

They only have red in stock atm though, so will wait until the others come back in. Quote

I wonder why that is then? It needs a clean too! 😬 1 Quote

Flying Carrot Steve Posted Tuesday at 19:41 Posted Tuesday at 19:41 That must be very old oil, mine is crystal clear still. All the more reason to clean away the shame! 😂 1 Quote
SteveB21 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Finally decided to upgrade my front brakes with the Wilwood kit from Rally Design using 260mm vented discs. Forgot to order the new hoses so not going on just yet! 3 Quote
