Andrzej Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I've got that repair kit in the boot of my Westfield, but just realized there's nothing in there to actually inflate the tyre if I manage to fix it.. need to look for som compact air compressor. Quote

I got one that takes the same battery as my 18V power tools, cost a bit more but thought it was worth it. 1 Quote
Andrzej Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago It is an idea, but I would rather prefer sth for 12V from car , so it can work a long time. For battery one, I not always remember to charge full and will it be sufficient to inflate whole tyre ? For quick set of pressures I use one of this : Suprised how accurate it is , and effortless. But not sure if sufficient battery capacity for whole weel from 0psi. Just ordered some air compressor for 12V from car instalation, small 110x95x47mm. Quote
Flying Carrot Steve Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Given that those cans you can buy that inflate the tyre and insert gunge to seal a leak can supposedly inflate a tyre, you'd think you could buy compressed air cans for emergency tyre inflation wouldn't you? Maybe you can? It would be handy for kit car owners for sure. I don't have a ciggy lighter socket so it's battery powered pump or foot pump for me Quote

I tried 5 of those when I had a complete flat after a screw in the tyre was repaired using a kit like above and it got it to about 5psi. I now carry a small electric compressor adapted from a cigar lighter lead to crock clips. 2 Quote
