What the postie brought today!

Not the postie, but met up with Barry near Ross-on-Wye on the way back from a show at Stoneleigh to collect these. Pleased to find an orange set of the 13” Team Dynamics wheels I like and look forward to giving them a go, perhaps even tonight down to the Bridport meet

I think they’ll great on your car and that you’ll love the ride quality on 13” wheels 👍

They will suit the car very well Stuart, nice profile of tyre too.

Do not use them without the correct spigot rings. You will experience terrible vibrations and it is dangerous.

Team Dynamics are generally 73.1mm and you will need 63.4mm for Ford hubs. This is what the reference code is on the side of the ring, 731634.

That is really useful info - every day is a school day...Thanks

Another useful delivery for me. I lost the plug which seals the vacuum inlet on my inlet manifold, so the car was running really badly. I found a temporary replacement which strangely was a wheel bolt, but I have just received this Allen ‘plug’ which fits perfectly.

The problem…

The temporary fix…

The proper solution, 1/4 BSPT plug….

I hope you fitted it with some loctite, you don't want to loose that one!

Just out of curiosity, would PTFE tape also work or would there be an issue with that?

PTFE is slippery and there nothing else to stop the blank turning and unscrewing I would use Loctite. But each to their own!

Some 5mm spacers for me. My 13” rims were just catching on the suspension arm so these give it a bit of space without pushing the tyre out too far.

More what was missing really. Almost did it DIY but thought I’d patronise Westfield Chesil and buy the exhaust mounting kit.

Anyone spot what’s missing?……

…..yep, the mount that bolts to the exhaust.

Awaiting a response to an initial phone call and then a follow up email now. So far, not that impressed, sad to say, just crickets at present.

Should have stuck to DIY.
