Arm Posted February 5, 2023 Share Posted February 5, 2023 Did it in our 6m long ducato. The road in from the north is narrow and tight but has passing places. Try to pick a quiet time. Heading away down the pass its steep and long. Make sure you have good brakes and the van is not overloaded. Our wheels were black with brake dust and hot but it was ok. The NC500 was originally a car driving route, not bl**** Motorhomes, Cyclists etc, Been spoilt in recent years, unless you know where to go. I’m an exiled Scot so I’m pretty familiar with this. The route I’m following is pretty straight forward each one is a stop. It’s also following the major routes so less hassle for locals and daily traffic. not too many single track roads. Arm Posted February 9, 2023 Share Posted February 9, 2023 We did it last yr. Picked a quiet time when kids were at school. Roads were relatively quiet. Locals fabulous, brilliant campsites.
