Kent breakfast meet - 26th March 2023

British summer time begins on Sunday 26th March and so does the Kent area monthly breakfast meet!

This is the first one so be sure to pop along and support the club :)

We are meeting at - Jo’s Cafe, Brooklands (next to the Raceway), Romney Marsh, Kent, TN29 9TF

1000hrs for a breakfast and meet and greet! There is indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of parking for the cars. We can discuss what you all want to do throughout the year and further plans and ride outs etc…

We hope to see a good turn out for the first one. There’s enough time to get those odd jobs done and your cars all ready (hopefully the weather will have improved too by then). ☀️

Look forward to meeting you and seeing your cars. All kit cars welcome too :)

Ben.

:) I had already messaged them as soon as I heard about it! Hopefully it could be a great location for a monthly meet

Next Sunday. Could I get a show of hands who is attending just to give the cafe notice of numbers. Hope to see a few of us for the first of hopefully a regular monthly meet :)

Hi Ben I can so far confirm that;

Barry O'Grady

Dean Savill

Rob Bannister

Will be attending.

I'm going to remind the rest of the Essex & North Kent group and see who else is attending. I'll let you know if the numbers change.

See you next Sunday.

I was hoping to take a run out from Surrey, but I’ve been double-booked🙄, so next time hopefully.

Update on this Sundays monthly meet-                               ️ or ☀️ (positive thinking!)

A few of us are going to meet at Ashford (John Lewis) and have a little group ride down to Jo’s cafe.

Rich B has kindly planned a nice 50mile route arriving at 1000 hrs for breaky as already planned.

If anyone would like to join the ride also we will meet at 0800hrs.  If you’d rather meet at the cafe, we will see you there 🙂

Looking forward to it

I'm being positive about the weather & looking forward to the run and meet...

️ **Further update on tomorrow’s meet** ️

Despite all the positive thinking the latest weather forecast is heavy rain all night until the late morning

I fully understand not everyone wants to get their car out in that, or may not be prepped with a roof etc.

A few of us were still going to pop over for a breakfast at the cafe at 10 am as planned just for a catch up etc. Either in tin tops or maybe still the cars, but a decision will have to be made in the morning last minute! Just to confirm there will be no pre breaky ride out.

We will rearrange another first official meet for Sunday 9th April once this forecast cold/wet snap has passed. (Details to follow)
