dwhitehouse
This build was completed just 2 years ago to a high standard. It has a huge build file from the builder and I have been in contact with the builder. He explained that he prefers the build process to using them, hence he sold it soon after IVA and registration. The next owner spent some money on the car converting it to more of a road spec. He put a full screen in, a header, added carpets and upgraded the seats. The next owner seems to have basically put new team dynamics wheels and tyres on then parked it in a dehumidifier garage and never used it. It's now on about 700 miles and I've done 300 of those in the last 6 months. I've had it mapped on a dyno by Page Motorsport it is putting out a healthy 163hp, is very smooth and drivable throughout the whole rev range. I have contacted who I believe are the engine builders and this is the potential spec of the engine: Quote I have a suspicion it may be an engine built for Mach 1 cars of Sheffield and destined for their demo car that never became. If so, it has CP forged pistons on bushed floating pin std rods, ARP bolts. Fast road FZ2002 kent cams, +1mm inlet and std ex. If you remove the breather on the block skirt you can identify the rods and possibly the piston material. Similarly if you remove the rocker cover you can see the cams ID on the back ends. If all is as suggested it should give on what looks like bike carbs and a decent exhaust 180-190 bhp. Rev limited safely to 7500. NB: The engine management is OMEX, wasted spark ign and Hayabusa throttle bodies. The dyno session confirms it has cams in it as the tuner said that it would not be making the power it does on standard cams. There may be more in it too with the right exhaust as the power tails off at around 6k revs and the engine could be good for another 1500 revs. We focused on a usable road tune, concentrated on good usable torque and nice transitions on and off the throttle. It now drives really nice and since it’s an early engine it does not need cats so you get the added benefit of the pops and bangs on the overrun. Some highlights: AVO height and damping adjustable shocks all round Polly bushed all round and rose jointed rear suspension Green stuff pads Large radiator Full sized battery Registered on 20 plate with V5 in my name The rest of the car is really nice, some nice quality parts used throughout and the majority are new. I'm looking to get my money back so want £15,000 for it. Mob: 07397187622 Any questions, get in touch. Thanks Dave
