SouthhamsChris
I decided to swop out my 1980s rs/capri wheels for minilite style over the winter. Looked at different options and ended up going for Compromotive ML r13 6J et18 wheels. Really pleased with what they sent me and found Compromotive as a business superb to deal with. 7
Alan Cutler (Adge) - Dorset AO
Very smart. Classic yet modern look (if that makes any sense!).
Greenstreak-Andy D
Always like 13” mini-light alloys on Westfields. Did same on my first Westfield.
Robin Parker (Red Spider) - Yorkshire AO
Love a Minilite, but also love a RS alloy. I have 14 inch Minilites on mine but if I went for 13's would definitely consider RS.

Out of curiosity, what wheel & tyre size did you have originally and what tyre size are on the 13" minilites? TIA.
Tim Baxter
Your car is a carbon copy of mine! (nearly🤣) Its the closest I've ever come across yet.....Same colour, seats, rollbar, exhaust, v8 nosecone, black cycle wings, 13" compomotive wheels(mine are crx), I assume its a zetec too? I've just moved my indicators to under headlights, widetrack in box to fit next.

TIA. Steve, the previous wheels were 1980s rs/capri wheels, r13 6J et19, I believe you can get them in 5.5J as well and I used the same 205 60 tyres on the new wheels as they were only 12 months old. My old westie had rs/capri wheels with 185 60 tyres so it sat slightly lower. That car had a 2.0 blacktop with bike carbs and the rear did tend to skip around a bit if you put your foot down. The current car with 1.8 silvertop and the wider tyre, doesn’t really do this as much……

As well as the wing change, the boot lid, spare wheel and a few other bits have gone. It's had a complete front and rear suspension rebuild and a complete going through from front to back.
