Issuing replying to topics

I've been trying to add a new pist to my build diary, but the message editor keeps on either crashing the Web page or adding so many returns, whilst skipping the location of the cursor, that I can't actually type anything. The issue is often not there for the first few moments, but the more I type the worse it seems to be.

 

Adding photos fails too, as they revert to a small object box that I can't delete.

 

Any one got any suggestions? I'm logging in on an Samsung S21 using the native browser.

Could your mobile be running out of memory?  Is it possible for you to try to add a post using a laptop?

The phone shows as having 3.8gb of ram spare, and 140gb if storage, so it should be more than capable of loading the page I was on. Its even starting to do it now!

I know it’s one of those oft repeated things but have you tried completely shutting the phone down, rebooting and then trying again? Often the easiest way to clear cached data etc.

 

 I can try with my wife’s S21 to see if it’s an odd device/browser combo, but not until tomorrow at the earliest.

Yup, tried the full on/off thing as well as upping the amount of virtual ram. I'm pretty sure it's only an issue on my phone, and not my laptop.
