go pro rules and sprints / hill climbs

Simple question, is it OK / frowned upon / against rules to video your runs on sprints or hill climbs, it appears some venues have rules about it.  If you are allowed can they be put on youtube / wscc sites or is that a no no for some or all of the venues.

As far as I know the use of video equipment and showing it afterwards is ok. MIRA used to have a policy of no spectators and no cameras at all.

Its generally OK to use but some scrutineers ask if you run a camera so they can check that its mounted sufficiently. Some events also ask you to declare if you intend to use one on the entry forms.

 

Aside from MIRA (which no longer runs sprints), I think the only other venue that doesn't allow it is Hethel as its Lotus's test track at their factory
