Big bore chrome exhaust parts

Large-bore “chrome” exhaust – Westfield(?).

This is from my late brother-in-law’s car parts collection found in his garage and therefore being offered on behalf of my widowed sister. I am only a retired DIY mechanic from the 60’s.

His “pre-litig” 1990 Westfield needs renovating and may be offered shortly. V5C exists on Q-plate. I presume the exhaust items were bought for it.

These are very impressive items found together but the middle-sized one has a 2-stud flange at one end (3-stud at other end), so maybe not compatible, as the other two have 3-stud flanges.

For “chrome”, read polished stainless steel (?).

Appear to be unused (flanges are clean and no signs of bolts being used) and nominal bore 60mm.

The four-into-one manifold has 40mm diameter inlets at 91mm centres. Note the three (mounting?) studs and threaded pipe tapping 12mm internal diameter.

Manifold – 6.2kg (so collection from Bradford preferred)

Centre section 3kg and 580mm overall length.

Small part – 1kg and 250mm overall length.

No idea of value but look expensive. Would hope for at least £80 for manifold, £50 for centre section and £15 for end pipe.

Will split if requested.

I don't think that's a Westfield manifold. More likely a FWD car as per the above suggestion

Thanks for your help and it does seem to be a transverse-engined exhaust. I cannot see why someone would want to have such a lovely polished item hidden under a bonnet be it offroad/race only.

As a temporary member, how do I close the listing?

Regards,

Ian

Exhaust now listed on eBay.

Obviously of no interest to Westfield owners; please close listing.

We don’t have a close or open for that matter on listings. The only thing we do ask, is for the original posters of sales threads to ass the word “SOLD” to the title of the threads for items, when they are indeed sold.
