Cancelling Membership

I had a lady contact me this afternoon, asking how could she cancels her husband’s membership as he has recently passed away. I presume it’s contacting Mark Redpath?

Memberships are not automatically renewed, so it will lapse when not renewed.  That said, if she wants it cancelled earlier, then please let us have the details.

As Quinten said, but what we’ve also done in these instances is put a note on the deceased members back of house record, and removed their email address and postal addresses from the contact info, so that they don’t accidentally receive any communications from us.
