Congratulations to Matt Hillam, WSCC club member and AO for winning the British Sprint championship in the Vauxhall 2.0 XE engined Dallara that he shares with club sponsor Steve Broughton of SBD Motorsport.

 

Matt secured the title on the last run of the season at Castle Combe circuit on Saturday

Congratulations Matt I was spectating at Castle Combe on Saturday and I didn't realise that you were a member or I would have come over and said hello. I was in the pits talking to Terry Holmes (who you pipped at the post) as he was wiping the oil off his rear wing from his last run when you came over to console him, I was wearing my WSCC beanie). As you are probably aware he blew a seal on his final run right in front of me at Quarry (see pics below) but he didn't let it slow him down and finished his run.

I have also attached some shots of you during your successful runs which are fairly sharp but you were a bit too fast for my camera/skill.
