SootySport
3 cars have been wounded, sympathy required. 1 . Rocketeer gone into body shop for cill repair. 2. went to Essex club meet this morning and on the way home Westfield got rammed by a Corsa up the chuff so fuel tank holed and rear panel damaged with multiple splits and scratches. 3. Shortly afterwards Wife came home in the daily Audi and reversed into neighbours car, resulting in minor dents and scratches to both cars. So went to the pub for a couple of beers and now going to bed before any other misfortunes happen.
jaykay42
Oh, no! How much misfortune can any one person accumulate? Better luck tomorrow (should be an easy wish to fulfill!)

Mark (smokey mow)
That’s seriously bad luck Bernie. Martin @ MJS Fabrication in Maldon should be able to help with your tank and Colin @ Applied Fibreglass in Buxhall for the bodywork.
SootySport
I know Martin, he's very good but Stuart with all the cars is going to fix it. Finding someone to do the bodywork is hard, no one available till next year except one, I hope.

Can't get hold of Applied, landline number not active, so you have a mobile number?

The number I have for him is 01449 737311 but I can’t recall if I’ve ever used it. I also have an email which is willia201@aol.com He’s good a what he does but works on his own since he lost his wife a few years ago. He did make all the bodies for AB performance when they were next door and he’s made all my JW4 bodies.
SootySport
November is not much better. Fractured Fibia last week, 11 hrs in A & E resulting having a big boot on right leg. Had to cancel a weeks holiday in Lisbon due to fracture and was due to fly out today. Wife got the hump as she was looking forward to a weeks break from work, of course it s my fault. More sympathy required.
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
Oh no Bernie, that's awful. This time of year too, with the winter cold and damp building, not nice. Hope you feel better soon.

A pile of upgrade parts are awaiting in a spare room, hopefully after Christmas I'll be able to do the winter upgrades.

Hope that's going down well at home: holiday cancelled due to fracture, but happily spannering away on the car... Brave or foolish? 🙂 Hope you'll have better luck soon! And you think she'll have forgotten by then... 😉 A month of resting, I'd struggle too. Maybe time to learn the guitar, or Rubik's cube?
