Rob Hunter - Club Secretary
Hi all, In the absence of our illustrious squadron leader @Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative we are doing a sneaky Peaky run out. I have to be back home early afternoon so it won't be such a long magical mystery tour as Julie does, but hopefully will scratch the Westfield itch 😂 We will meet at 10am at the Old Smithy Tearooms in Monyash (DE45 1JH). If you can't park at the front, there's normally room in the Bulls Head car park next door. Once we've had breakfast @Lee Bennett and I will do a little B road blast, ending up at the Bentley Brook Inn (DE6 1LF) about 12-1230 ish. For those coming from the south, we will do the normal pre meet at the A38/A50 services (DE65 6DX) at about 845am for a 9am departure. Hopefully see some of you in the morning 👍

Sorry Andy, I only finally succumbed to the nagging for a Peaks run earlier today 😂
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
Yep, would have loved too, but just stripped the nose and intercooler area down to sort out a couple of jobs I’d been putting off. Oh well, have fun!

Rob Hunter - Club Secretary
A decidedly chilly but beautiful day for a drive out this morning! A few of us met up early at the services for a refuel as normal, only to be joined by a Mclaren, Ferrari and a load of TVR's who were heading to various events. After a chat with a young man called Oliver who is currently building a Fury and happens to work for Gardiner Douglas, we headed up to Monyash to meet Lee via some amazingly quiet B Roads. We all warmed up with a brew and a butty while having a chuckle about the fun and sprited drive up, these cars are just made for these kind of roads! After breakfast, we had planned to head for the Bentley Brook Inn for lunch, but enroute we found the B5056 closed for some reason.... I then hatched a plan for a little photo opportunity instead 😎 I'd found a particular road on a solo run some months ago and given the roads were so quiet, I thought I'd take a chance that a little location was available for us to park... amazingly it was! What a brilliant day filled with fun roads, amazing cars, stunning scenery and all shared with a great bunch of mates 👍 See you all on the next one! Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative
It looks like you had a great day out, although I am very concerned about the lack of cake, I thought that I had trained you better than that 😛 The roads sounded good though and I think you have been up to Middleton Top for the photo's? What lovely weather! Don't forget to submit your best photo's for the 2023 calendar!

Yes it was Middleton Top at the Carsington Windfarm, fab place for some photos 👍 Sadly I couldnt stay out all day, so no cakes were harmed in the making of this particular Peaks run.... we did manage to christen the cars with plenty of cow muck though 😂
