Westfield pen

Rummaging around the other day in some stuff left by my Mum when she died in 2008 I found this Parker pen.  I can't think it was in any way connected to our Westfield brand but have no idea what Westfield it does represent.  It's clearly quite old.

They used to sell them in the WSC Ltd parts store IIRC…

Funnily enough I remember using a branded parker pen just like that when I was at the factory and they thrust a pen into my hand to complete the order form for my kit.

It definitely looks like a WSC one based on the typefont...

Yep, it's "our" Westfield, they've done all sorts of branded gift stuff over the years. I've got one of the little USB power banks on the desk next to me right now. I've a set of their cufflinks I got given, somewhere, too. They did quite a nice watch at one point, but that's really rare, now.

Same, when I bought my first car. I tried to blag it, or a new one, but no... (Didn't bother buying one, either, at the time.)

OK - mystery of the provenance of the pen solved.  Thank you.

I am now left with the mystery of why it was in a box of my mother's stuff which predates me even owning a Westfield.  Curious!
