Captain Colonial
Even though we Americans own a square acre of Runnymede (thanks yer maj)… it wasn’t me. 😎

Had the anniversary embroidery in the seat head rests, a laurel wreath sticker on the bonnet and everything. Haven't seen a proper FW400 for a while and I seem to recall not being that enamoured of them when they were first released, but this one has modified my opinion a lot 'cos it looked fantastic and now I wish I'd owned one. There's a thread about that somewhere round here...

Didn't realise they were in the immediate vicinity of each other though I'm going to go down there this evening and have a look

Have you done a search? 🤣🤣🤣 Sorry, that was out of order but it was the biggest, fattest open goal of all time and I couldn’t resist. 😎😂
SteveB21
Also worth a trip up to the Air Forces memorial if you've never been - it has an excellent view. https://www.cwgc.org/visit-us/find-cemeteries-memorials/cemetery-details/109600/runnymede-memorial/

Last Sunday of September will be Petrolheads, weather permitting, then a short drive to both the Air Forces Memorial and then the JFK memorial. I shall bring my passport. Thanks lads, that will be a good day. 1

There never was an anniversary edition of the FW400, hell they only ever made 3 of them! So ones guessing that someone liked the jubilee look and decided to copy it. Sat here right now two things are true. 1. I should have taken a picture... and 2, I could have sworn it had 30th anniversary something embroidered in the head rests, but clearly I'm second guessing myself against your superior knowledge and that's never a winning strategy
Mark Stanton
I think that an anniversary edition Westfield was produced ?? was it a silver/black combo ? definitely wasn't a genuine FW400 - however it may have had the FW rear end and bonnet as a lot of newer Westfields. They had stitching into seats and a wreath like logo on nose. Only a very small number of genuine FW400 monocoque were made and I think about 4 or 5, if that, made it onto the road - all originally produced in silver black combo but have also seen one resprayed a metallic green. Keep em peeled Blatters 😎

That’s the one, I still have a photo of it in my folder. 25 were made for the anniversary, and the silver was actually painted rather than gel coat. As this would have been 2007 I think they were all ZK bodywork.
