The Great British CAKE Journey Gathering tonight 5pm - 9pm, DE56 2HE

Last minute job I know, but if anyone is kicking about this evening there is a 'Gathering' of Cakes at The Great British Cake Journey, Ambergate, DE56 2HE. 

 

It is £5 per car entry, there is food and drink available, last month there were over 200 cars attending.

It was a well attended event

 

 

Ours was the only Westfield in the car park

 

 

We happen to sit by this Spitfire, owned by a lady for 47 years until recently when the current owner bought it, all original, no wonder he had a big smile on his face.

 

 

 

Had a chat with Dale from Toybox, who was parked next to me in his Ford Orion, also had a chat with Richard Usher who the museum belongs to. Lots of lovely cars and people so worth another visit, seems these events are going to be on every month.
