geoffd Posted August 11, 2022 Posted August 11, 2022 Same for me on W10, Brave browser. OK if I go via the club website. Quote
Onliest Smeg David Posted August 11, 2022 Author Posted August 11, 2022 Hmmm...  OK on Samsung Internet browser OK on W10 Edge  Fail on Android Chrome Quote
geoffd Posted August 12, 2022 Posted August 12, 2022 I edited the link on my menu to https://forum.wscc.co.uk/forum/ (it didn't have the https:// before) and it works properly now. 2 Quote

NigelO Posted August 12, 2022 Posted August 12, 2022 I noticed this morning that clicking the forum shortcut on my iPad resulted in a dialog box asking me if I wanted to "download the forum" Â On my PC, clicking my saved bookmark downloaded a small file. Â Clearly, somebody has changed something, somewhere. Â I've deleted the old bookmarks and replaced them with new ones, but it's a bit of a faff Quote
geoffd Posted August 12, 2022 Posted August 12, 2022 I do wonder if someone has hijacked the non https address, but I don't know enough about web sites to say with more certainty. Â If you do get the the download screen, it would be best not to download anything, just close the screen and use the https link. Quote
Andy Malone - Editor Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 @Quinten Uijldert - Webmaster - Not sure if you've seen this?  I'm getting it as well on the http version, but I've just had a look at the script and it looks like genuine Invision Community code so I think it's a host error resolving it as a download rather than a malicious hack. Always good to be vigilant though. 1 Quote
Quinten Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 I can only advice to use the correct url for the forum:Â https://forum.wscc.co.uk/forum/ Â We've not been hacked or hijacked. Quote
Kingster Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 Shouldn’t http:// always redirect to https:// anyway? Quote

Kingster Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 Check the .htaccess file in the root public folder.  or httpd.conf  or sites-enabled/ xxx.conf Quote
Andy Malone - Editor Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 I was also going to suggest that if PHP has recently been updated it might not be reflected as a valid handler/module for Apache? Â My long standing bookmark seems to have been saved to the http version but it hasn't shown this behaviour until recently. Quote
ACW Posted August 16, 2022 Posted August 16, 2022 I spotted this this morning and am investigating. Redirect page to forum appears to have been broke. Quote
*Emma* Posted August 16, 2022 Posted August 16, 2022 This is what I get when I try to open the main club site. Â 1 1 Quote
