The thing that boils my p*** is that the low or no ethanol is actually cheaper to make than the blends......and as we know, gives better mpg as it contains more energy. But, of course, if it was priced according to cost, nobody would use the blends.

Saving grace for me is we hardly do any miles.

Mine is only back on the road after 3 months off doing the engine and mapping.

Come back and it's quite an expensive hobby currently 🤬

Tell me about it

6 mile round trip to MOT station yesterday , car running on fumes so decide better top up for the test .

25 ltrs = £ 47.27 worth of regular + £50 MOT

works out at £16.21 per mile is NOT cheap .

(Ok I haven't used all the gas yet but your not supposed to notice the omission )  :durr:

I noticed the roads were quiet as the chauffeur delivered me back from London.

Anything that keeps the poor people off the roads is a great thing in my opinion.

It was "work from home Friday" here in the smoke. I have DEFINITLEY noticed that Friday traffic is significantly less dense than the rest of the week since most of the restrictions were lifted. The same journey on a Monday would be a different story...
