Nick Mucklow Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 Hey. I drove back on the motorway yesterday and the drivers wiper blade went flying off never to be seen again. Anyone got a replacement pair or no where I could get some from? They needed replacement anyway as hardly cleaned the screen anyway. 🙄 Seiw fw Thanks.

Nick Mucklow Posted June 28, 2022 Author Posted June 28, 2022 Thank you. Will measure the passenger side as an idea so no the size.
Mark (smokey mow) Posted June 29, 2022 Posted June 29, 2022 Early wipers were a spoon fitting for the blade whereas later used a bayonet attachment. The blades used were all made by Tex Automotive https://texautomotive.com/product-category/wipers/wiper-blades/ Tex Automotive B00308 (chrome) - 8" Spoon Fitting Tex Automotive B05108 (chrome) - 8" Bayonet fitting Tex Automotive B05108E (black) - 8" Bayonet fitting
SteveB21 Posted June 29, 2022 Posted June 29, 2022 I replaced the wiper rubber with standard Halfords wiper refill blades and it made a big improvement. It’s also worth ensuring the blade is perpendicular to the screen by twisting the wiper arm slightly. 1
