VDO Speedometer & Sensor Wanted

Hi. Does anyone have a working VDO speedo and/or sensor that they will sell?

My sensor is located just above the rear driveshaft and is pointing at the LOBRO joint. It looks like the distance is set correctly. Wiring from sensor to speedo multi-plug is all good. Digital mileage readout is working but not moving I assume because no speed is registering.

I have attached pictures of the numbers on my existing speedo for reference. 

 

Reading previous posts on here, the cause of my speedo reading zero could be the sensor hence why I could so with a sensor too so I can eliminate this. Hoping someone may have these spare if they have changed dash set up etc.

Just out of curiosity, but what's wrong with yours for you to want to replace it?  Is it the display?

No. Display is fine. It won't record any speed. Just stays at zero. I've tested all the wiring to it and it's all good. I've tested and cleaned the sensor on the rear axle. 

My assumption is that it must be the speedo not reading what is being sent to it.

Figured it would be easier to replace with a working one and then try and get ours repaired in due course.

That's an odd one.  If you exhausted everything, then yes, maybe a replacement is in order...

Hoping someone has a good used transponder that is surplus to requirements.

Have you checked the calibration? I had one and thought it was faulty and sent it away to get repaired and they told me the calibration was way out so they corrected it and now it works fine and wasnt faulty at all. Maybe check this first if the rest seems ok as its super easy to do
