With a young family & all the commitments that go with it, along with a wedding coming up I have decided (pretty much have no choice) to sell my kit.

This is not just a chassis I have probably over 60-70% of all parts needed to be able to build up the kit. Not everything is Brand new but I have a lot of new parts amongst the items for sale. I want to try to sell it as a job lot first. Whatever the buyer doesn't want I will list separately after it hopefully sells.

I'm not looking to make a profit just want to get the money back that I have already put into it.

This is what I have:

2007 chassis with vin number, never registered so can be put through Iva once complete. This is like new.

Used FW bodywork this would need painting once complete as not all the same colour.

All new alloy panels all drilled & ready to be be riveted, I have the rivets if required.

This includes new outer alloy panels for both sides as well.

Duratec engine mounts new.

Brand new pedals & all fittings along with standard used but good brake master cylinder & nearly new clutch master cylinder both with clevises.

Wide track new front suspension and used rear arms.

Full new suspension bolt kit bought from Westfield.

New full set of metalistic bushes.

Westfield alloy front uprights complete with alloy hubs.

Westfield new alloy golf rear uprights fitted with bearings from the factory.

Escort steering rack.

Brand new (BKM16S rally design) M16 brake caliper kit with all fittings along with new solid discs etc.

Brand new rear golf calipers & carriers.

Brand new from Westfield handbrake cable for Sierra handbrake lever.

Sierra handbrake lever.

Pair of used driveshafts but have new cv joints kits for them all to be rebuilt to make them like new again.

New roll of brake pipe & enough unions to make up a few cars tbh.

New westfield fuel pipes.

New steering columns complete upper & lower with ignition barrel & keys.

Iva steering wheel & hub kit.

Full FW fuel tank fitted with sender & fuel tank frame like new might even be new tbh.

Full duratec exhaust manifold and silencer no cat. Used but very good condition.

All of the above stands me at £7500

I have probably missed some bits out but you get the idea. I will add more items if & when they spring to mind. Not sure if the price is expected amount but open to deals with more or less items as required?

I also have but are NOT included in the above the following:

Duratec 2.0 engine came out of a mondeo that I ran for a little bit before sending it to scrap (due to usual ford rust) has coil pack leads etc still fitted.

Type 9 gearbox used but a good one. Came out if a sierra I broke some years back.

Reconditioned 3.62 differential

Standard sierra propshaft that I was going to use the ends of to get a prop made up the right length.

Vulcan 2.1 Pinto engine with lowered sump like new. Best to contact me to discuss this engine.

I will try to get more pictures up next time I'm over at the garage.

Please ignore the rubbish at the back of the garage really need to do a tip run🤣🤦‍♂️

If you could let me know your thoughts good or bad would be appreciated. Thanks.

So to follow on from some of the questions I have been sent. This chassis was bought from RWD motorsport (really good friend of mine) he bought it direct from Westfield some years ago & used it purely for show purposes. For those that have asked if it has been reinforced etc. The chassis originally was built by Westfield to develop an electric car hence why it has a couple of extra cross tubes etc as believe they used an Aerorace chassis as a start point. This never actually happened & my friend bought it from them. The only bar/frame he had to remove was a mounting plate that was attached at the bellhousing end of the chassis which was so that an electric motor could be mounted too. Like I said this was removed by him & the chassis re-powder coated so that he could fit a duratec engine & gearbox. I originally saw the chassis with duratec engine & gearbox diff etc fitted, but he sold these previously before I bought the chassis from him.

Hope this helps with some of the questions. But if you want to know anything else let me know.

Thanks

Edited to add, the base chassis was a Westfield Aerorace type.

Hi thanks for your question but I have had a couple of enquiries with regards selling the complete package. I want to pursue them first for obvious reasons. Once I have sold the bulk of it any left over items I will list separately at the end thanks.

Right so I have a few enquiries not just on WSCC about breaking the car etc. Had a offer of £6000 for the lot (excluding engine, gearbox and diff) only to be messed about. So as I have put in my first post I really want to sell the lot in one go. This is simply because I don't want to be left with anything, along with the fact I do not have the time to be messing about with it for the next several months etc. I will therefore be willing to take an offer over £5700 for the job lot. This will exclude the engine, gearbox and reconditioned diff as these weren't purchased with the kit parts.

We all know that there is no way that you could purchase these parts for less than this! At the present moment chances are you can't get some of these parts period.

Please no more messers, I would just like an honest buyer. I will mark this post sold, once it hopefully does sell, so no need to message asking "is this still available" to never be heard from again. Thanks.

Bttt offers considered. All parts stand me at £7.5k so a bargain for someone with the time to build.

So just a quick update. I have started to build this project up. It will be a very slow process due to the above already mentioned posts. Up to now I have drilled all of the alloy panels & fitted floor & bulkhead panels. I have also painted the floor panels on the underside in black chassis paint.

If there are any interested parties to purchase the kit? Then please let me know via PM. Thanks Paul.

Update 8 January 2023

Bought quite a few extra parts now so the prices are out of date.

Some of the additional parts as follows:

Full brand new Protec shocks with springs with full suspension bolt set.

Fully reconditioned 3.92 Sierra open diff.

Omex 600 ecu.

You get the idea.

Still only willing to sell as a job lot i.e chassis complete with full bodywork etc as the bodywork is being stored at a friend's unit; so cannot be left with that as it wouldn't be fair (and I wouldn't do that to him) to put on his good nature so please don't ask. Thanks.

What would be the price for the FW body panels?

If someone is interested in buying the chassis/rest of the parts then this maybe an option?

Just to be clear though the total would have to exceed £6000 in order for me to break it up. Only once I had deposits on things would I break!
