Martin Crane Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 Here I have my 1996 Westfield SEIW for sale, 1.7 Vulcan crossflow on with twin carbs. Millage 21,000 MOT 26/09/2022 Full Tonneau cover and also a full hood and doors The car is in good running order with most of the second half of last year spent getting the car all up together and running reliably. Lots of parts replaced and all these will be listed below. Due to the engine leaking a lot of oil I removed the engine and stripped it down and replaced all seals and gaskets possible and replaced a few parts during the process. The head was sent away to be checked and skimmed. The carbs were sent away to a company to be fully reconditioned and rebuilt and are like new now. The engine and gearbox were painted during this time to freshen the whole thing up. The car then visited sigma engineering a local company and well known place for engines like these to be set up after being apart and the carb being rebuilt and in turn runs lovely now. The car also has a baffled sump (discovered during the strip down) The car was starting to look dated so decided to paint a few of the parts on the car to get the car looking a bit more modern. The windscreen surround Windscreen side supports Alloy wheels Exhaust heat Shield Were all painted black and also new black head lights were also installed to complete the look. In the summer of 2021 the car had a full carpet set from Westfield direct and also re trimmed the side panels and dash. (DIY job) but very happy with it and has made the interior a much nicer place to be. Below is a list of the new parts that’s were also replaced during 2021 along with the parts/work spoke about above.
