Best place to advertise a sale?

I'm looking to advertise my Westfield for sale. I never see too many for sale on the forum. Is this the best place to advertise or would I be better off elsewhere?

 

Other options are Autotrader, Facebook (Westfield group) or Pistonheads.

 

Any thoughts?

Anyone looking to buy a Westfield will almost certainly look in here. There have been 26 Westies for sale this year already and good cars at the right price tend not to hang around for long.

 

The key is a well-worded ad, with good detail and good photos

Er, why can you only advertise in one place?

 

Seriously though, it’s free for members to advertise here, so I’d definitely use the forum, but there’s nothing wrong with putting it up in a few places, too, though obviously, some you will need to pay for.

 

Depends how quickly you need to sell, I guess?

 

Generally speaking, it also depends how specialised a version it is, too. In your case though, should sell well anywhere. Some of the more heavily modified competition or track day cars, can sometimes sell faster in more focused groups/web sites, on the other hand.
