Captain Colonial Posted May 4, 2022 Share Posted May 4, 2022 A couple of weeks ago, I drove down to Guildford to go watch For the Philistines in the room, Nick Mason is the drummer from Pink Floyd. The tour is performing a lot of early Pink Floyd pre-DSotM songs and the band includes Gary Kemp (from Spandeau Ballet) and Guy Pratt. Anyway, great night out and tickets still available, I believe Manchester next on Saturday. My ears were ringing for two days afterwards - result: One of the interesting things about the evening (besides Nick Mason still being brilliant at age 78) was the crowd standing at the front. Most of them were in their 70s, 80s, and a few in their 90s, all with silver / white hair and definitely having a blast. 😎 Just shows that age is only a number 👍 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was lucky enough to see Floyd 3 times in one week, Bath and West Showground on a Sunday, BBC In Concert on Wednesday and Hyde Park on Saturday, didn't pay for any of them.
