evosteve Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 Do you know the history of the gearbox, age and mileage?
Nic Chase (NICO) - Shropshire & Mid-Wales AO Posted May 4, 2022 Author Posted May 4, 2022 Hi Steve Its been in my car from new. 2005. I sent it back to BGH 10 years ago for a complete refresh. It’s been sitting under the bench for the past 3 years. probably covered no more than 20k miles since rebuild. Any more questions ask.
DamperMan Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 The casing has the bearing carrier though the front to support a heavy duty layshaft bearing. Making the the base gearbox ford's latest heavy duty V6 type 9 and the strongest of the lot. 1

Nic Chase (NICO) - Shropshire & Mid-Wales AO Posted May 4, 2022 Author Posted May 4, 2022 Not sure. Will need to try and measure the bellhousing. I’ll get back to you.
Nic Chase (NICO) - Shropshire & Mid-Wales AO Posted May 6, 2022 Author Posted May 6, 2022 Apologies for the delay. Been away for a couple of days. It looks like it’s a short input shaft.
