Removed last year from my Duratec car. 
 

Ratios 

1st - 2.66

2nd - 1.75

3rd - 1.26

4th - 1.00

5th - 0.82

Do you know the history of the gearbox, age and mileage?

Hi Steve

Its been in my car from new. 2005. 
I sent it back to BGH 10 years ago for a complete refresh. It’s been sitting under the bench for the past 3 years. 
probably covered no more than 20k miles since rebuild. 
Any more questions ask.

The casing has the bearing carrier though the front to support a heavy duty layshaft bearing.   Making the the base gearbox ford's latest  heavy duty V6 type 9 and the strongest of the lot.

Does it have a short input shaft?

Not sure.  Will need to try and measure the bellhousing.
