Recommended Posts

Hello all,

I am planning a run out on Saturday 7th May, starting and finishing in the Stirling area and the route should be about 150/170 miles with a stop for lunch.

The start point will be an interesting facility which has just installed a brand new rolling road facility and also a full suspension set up jig which will be used for racing cars----either single seater’s or saloons.

Free tea and coffee with biscuits will be available prior to us setting off.

John Coyle.

If anyones interested let me know and I’ll pass on to John

Saturday 7th May - - Run Out

The plan is to meet at 9.30, Saturday 7th in Stirling at Milton Motors, Whitehouse Road FK7 7SP. (This is

a brand new garage so may not show up on Google Maps/Earth). There will be tea and biscuits at that time and I would like to set off at 10.30.

There is a Shell filling station on Kerse Road, FK7 7SP; only about 300m from the start point.

We will have a short stop in Aberfoyle to give any stragglers time to catch up. Then we will head over The Duke's Pass and northwards ...... stopping for lunch in St Fillans. The run will end back in Stirling at a new filling station, post code FK8 1AF, just off the M9 motorway.

I hope the weather will be kind to us as I am looking forward to meeting some like minded souls.

I built my Westfield over the lockdown and it was a real lifesaver for me! I have only done 3,000 miles so am always keen to get out on the smaller roads.

Will try and be there John but it’s a 5.30/6.00 start. If I’m there , I’m there but don’t wait for me.

if I’m not then have a good run everyone

I’m keen to pop over for this.
As others have mentioned, weather dependant.

Had a big shift-around on the driveway and in the garage this afternoon, and we've extricated the Westfield - hopefully she will behave herself on Saturday morning (same goes for the Westy too).
