Chester
Hi Just tried to access the forum and I see a message that my membership lapsed on 1st April. I've checked my email, both spam and deleted folder and I haven't received a reminder. I then clicked on the message and followed the link through to the store but there is no option to renew my joint membership. Can someone help me out with the renewal please. Thanks
Chester
Found a way to renew my joint membership. However I still can't find any email reminder. Are email reminders still sent out?
Quinten
Yes, reminders are send out. I notice you have an @outlook.com email and they frequently block emails from our email provider. If the reminder was send in the last 3 days I can confirm this, but if it was longer ago, then I am going to assume that the email was blocked by Outlook.com. We don't seem to have the same issue with Gmail... maybe something to consider for the future?
Chester
Thanks. I do have a hotmail email address that I could update my profile to use.
Quinten
Unfortunately outlook and hotmail are all under Microsofts control, which is where the problem lies.
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
Also, the joint membership is a bit of an odd one, our automated systems don’t handle it well, so sometimes @Mark Redpath - WSCC Membership Secretary needs to do some manual intervention. Looks like you’re all good now, though.
