I am looking for a (Yellow - optimistic!!) Kit Wide Body nose cone for my 'Westfield green' sports car please.

The current ZK (?) one I have is a poor fit.

Willing to do swaps / deals / purchase.

W.H.Y.?

Thanks

Is this any good to you? Not brilliant condition, with a few gelcoat cracks, and very minor repairs but it's basically solid and very yellow.

Not sure postage is a viable option and Tavistock isn't exactly next door to Staffordshire....

Hi Nigel, thanks for a quick reply, I have a friend who loves driving so collection would be a viable option.

There does seem to be numerous stress cracks around the part which is a shame but I guess fixable or a wrap perhaps?

So it is definitely from a kit body style then, could you please photograph the interface edge for the bonnet please?

Also and as always, price?

I won't rule it out at this point so I'll wait and see the interface pic and price?

Thanks again

Regards......

pretty sure it's kit body - here's a piccy of the car when I bought it528456609_Westfield3small.jpg.963bafe9c09f51d500535819a1ecb06b.jpg

Price is negotiable - make me a sensible offer

The pic looks more like ZK, but could be deceiving.

How does your nose attach to the car?

I can never remember what bodywork I've got, but now you mention ZK, you could be right

couple more photos showing the nosecone on and off the car - fixing method has been converted to quick-release

That’s ZK bodywork, the give away is the depth of the flange around the back of the nose, for the bonnet to sit on, and the front peg locating points for the bonnet.

Yes I agree Dave, it's exactly what I have already, shame really but thanks for your confirmation.

Hi Nigel

Unfortunately it seems you have the ZK bodywork, judging by the cone flange depth at the bonnet interface so therefore and disappointingly, there is no point me making you an offer for your nose cone, which is a shame.

Thanks very much for responding though.

Your car looks a cracker as well.

Damn - never mind. I can’t see that I’ll ever need the nose cone again, so it’s a shame it can’t be used to help someone else

that said, a week after I fitted the carbon nose cone, the car rolled into my garage door and I had to fit the old one again while the new one was repaired, so perhaps I should hang onto it…..

Hi I have 3 yellow kit body nose cones that are no longer needed as I have changed mine to zk. There not perfect but still usable. There getting hard to find now.

Sorry David I have only just seen this, really interested in what you have, I'm looking for the wide body version, yellow is perfect, thanks?
