Original Honda S2000 Throttle Position Sensor

Anyone that's either got spare bits, or gone ITB, have a spare, working Honda OEM TPS they no longer need?

 

Mine's showing signs of wear at idle, and I'm not convinced it will adjust out. A back up would be handy.

If you need one I have one on my old one. I wasn’t really planning on getting rid though but then I don’t have any plans (yet) to put the OEM manifold back on.

 

Have you thought about a bigger throttle body and having the manifold matched????

 

Tegiwa have a fair few options and have a manifold machining service?

Do we know if the Honda Type R item is the same and hence suitable? (Yes, I'm suggesting a part K swap 😉 ). 

 

My S2000 throttle body was damaged by the breaker removing the engine after I'd bought it and a loose throttle body was supplied with the engine. I suspect it was off a Type R.

No it’s not. Honda type B and D, are supposedly suitable, though you’ll see vague references to small mods being required.
