adhawkins Posted February 16, 2004 Posted February 16, 2004 Happens to us all. (You might want to delete one of them though...) Andy Quote
Eccentric_Rich Posted February 16, 2004 Posted February 16, 2004 I've never heard of Millenium tyres but if you just want cheap tyres for commuting and your tin-top is pretty basic I would of thought they would be fine. If you want a 'quality' brand it's worth printing a quote from one of the internet tyre suppliers and taking it into your local branch of National tyres or Kwik Fit, it's surprising how much they'll reduce their prices if you're polite but firm and prepared to walk away if the deal's not right. (And don't let 'em do any work on the car until you've done the deal - their favourite trick is to get the car on the ramp and the wheels off whilst the supervisor sorts you out a price in the office). Tony B Posted February 17, 2004 Posted February 17, 2004 Ive just fitten Kumho tyres all round on the Focus for less than £200 and that was with Tracking... decent rubber too, not your cheap tat from Kwik Fit... Bizzarre tread pattern which is supposed to aid water dispersion and keep road noise down.. Quote
