Classic ZK Hood *Brand New* & Wind Deflectors

Since I'm going full cage this winter I've a few items which are now surplus to requirements

 

Classic ZK Hood

 

Brand new, comes with full fixing kit and bag

 

These are £450 from Westfield with a 14 - 16 week lead time.

Wind Deflectors

 

Used but good condition. Some 'usage' marks from wiping / stonechips etc. on both (example shown in 2nd photo)

 

TBH I'm a little gutted these won't work with the cage, they don't look like much but really helped with 'wind buffeting'

With a traditional ZK style hood, there was only one roll bar design; the standard unbraced bar. Westfield used to make, (sadly no more), a adaptor kit, to allow the unmodified hood to work with an RAC bar.

 

It is however possible to modify the hood frame, so that it can be used on a car with an RAC roll bar. There is no MSA bar option, I'm afraid. Half Hoods are the only solution, there.

Plan was to install it over my RAC roll bar.

 

I modified a hood frame (removed 2 of the bars) to make it work. Folds up and down without touching the roll bar.

 

Roll bar and hood frame will be up for sale once my cage arrives.
