Where are they looking! These are the people who take wing mirrors off or leave gouge marks down parked cars without stopping!

blimey, is this due to todays cars being so fat now..., it does sound like a huge lack of attention, mobile phones as mentioned is my thoughts as well.

But even a police vehicle, and an ambulance?? Sounds to me as if the County Highways officer needs a new tape measure!

This has been doing the rounds somewhat. The design is poor as from other angles there is a low kerb and which catches people out. this diagram explains it better than words

If you look in google maps, it's a straight road approaching it in a 20mph limit too!
