SEiGHT exhausts with heat shields - SOLD

Quinten

Recommended Posts

Having replaced my exhausts I've got two perfectly good exhausts spare.  Not sure if there are specific to the SEiGHT, or that individually they could be used on a Zetec or Duratec Westfield as well.

I'm led to believe these have build-in catalytic converters, but I have no way to verify this (no paperwork).

These do not have build in catalytic converters, and the link pipe is 2"

How about £75 each, or £125 for the pair collected from Northampton?

Have a look in the inlet too them. If you can see a honeycomb like structure,  they are catted.

A very keen price if they are!

I'll have a look with a torch, but not sure if the bend of the link pipe prevents seeing too much.

Hi Quinten

Is that with manifolds or just silencers?

That's just the silencers and some mounting stuff.

The nearside has been spoken for at the moment as I've got someone coming round this week to see if it will fit his Zetec.

If they are not catted I would be interested. 😉 Should fit to my 95 SE

But collecting would be difficult, would prefer paying more for shipping to Austria if it would be an option for you 🤔

I don't have anything to ship them in I'm afraid.  Plus they weigh a fair bit.  And then there is probably a Brexit tax on top of it to ship to the EU.

i will be interested if they are none-CAT, i am in cambridgeshire so could collect.

mine is an old 96 SEight so should fit perfect.

do you know were your manifolds are from? are they stainless?
i know you are not selling them, just curious to see if i can get some to replace mine that look corroded.

I've got no history on the manifolds either, but they look to be stainless.

Actually, I went back to my paperwork, and found an invoice from Westfield

Stock Id: 1710011

Description: Exhaust SEiGHT-Side-S.Steel

List Price: £645.80

I don't know what that includes, but it may be a good starting point?

Thanks for that, I have sent them an email, see what they can still do? 👍

Please let me know if the other guy doesn't take one of the silencers, and if they are none CAT.

cheers

Hi Quinten
Westfield were very quick replying to my emails.
that is the silencer and link pipes only.
manifolds were separate.

it seems they may have silencers that fit as they are fairly standardised, you just need to know manifold connecting tube diameter (2" or 2.5" diameter)

then you need to buy left and right hand sides.

Manifolds they do not have, nor do they have jigs or fixtures.

the advice is to have a local exhaust builder copy the  existing manifold design in stainless.

anyway, thanks for your info, much appreciated, and please let me know if they do not work for Mr Zetec

I tried looking into the link pipe, but all you can see is the start of 3 smaller perforated pipes that are hold in my magic (as in, they appear to be floating inside the main silencer).  So, none the wiser if they contain a catalyst converter or not.

Also took another picture to show what it is I'm selling

Sorry to have sent you on a 'wild goose chase'! My silencer inlet pipe is much shorter and hence easier to see into-

do you have the connecting tube diameter to the manifold please?

according to westfield and the part number you gave me, they are not sure which it is but presume 5" none cat with removable connecting parts.
but, the part number has been removed from their system and no longer stocked, alternative is:- Sports Silencer and Mounting Kit - 6 1/2" - Non Cat.

if we can prove if they are none cat i would love to take them off your hands?

Just a thought, but i think i can borrow a small scope to have a look down the pipe, see if there looks to be a cat or not.

i could pop over, check it out

If they don't i could take both :)

If they do, you could add to your advert?

pending Mr Zetec's visit

let me know via PM if you like and i will see if we have the scope at work.

cheers
