Aeruttle Posted October 13, 2021 Share Posted October 13, 2021 For anyone considering dropping in a Duratec over winter this kit let’s you bolt the mx5 mk3 (NC) box direct. The kit converts the external fork type clutch cylinder to a concentric type so the gearbox will fit in the tunnel. Not suitable for narrow body tunnels. Items included: - Machined billet front gearbox plate - concentric slave cylinder assembly - remote bleed pipe and braided hose - mk5 mk3 (5 speed) flywheel and bolts - Lux clutch and pressure plate - Westfield sport 250 gear lever (so it doesn’t hit the dash) (£137 RRP) Kit and clutch have done 2000miles before I upgraded my engine and gearbox. To be clear this does not include engine or gearbox. Although you are free to take a spare gearbox that requires new thrust bearings. It can be used in MT75 tunnels if you cut an access hole in the flat alloy part of the scuttle above the concentric kit bleeding valve. I know because I've done it.
