Early Wide track front wishbones

Are you looking to replace parts of an existing, damaged wide track setup, or replacing original narrow track wishbones?

If you’re going widetrack for the first time, both the earlier and later versions of the (Westfield supplied) widetrack kit will work fine, as long as you have the correct length front dampers, and you have Westfields cast alloy front uprights, if you have Cortina cast iron uprights, you’ll only be able to use early style widetrack.

See Pat’s post below from Westfield Parts for the full explanation of the upright compatibility.

Edited to clarify which wishbones work with which uprights.

Do you have cortina or ali uprights fitted to the car?

If you have Cortina you will only be able to fit the early style wide track due the difference in inserts and ball joints, the 3rd gen setup is not compatible with Cortina uprights im afraid.

Excellent point, I must admit I’d forgotten about the inserts.
