TAFKARM
I'm not often compelled to sign a petition or even make a serious post, but this makes me very sad. Have a read, what a desperately tragic life. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Merrick https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-england-leicestershire-58663776 Link to the petition if you feel inclined to sign it. https://www.change.org/p/itae-productions-stop-the-exploitation-of-people-with-disabilities-in-your-dinner-and-dissection-show/psf/share?source_location=corgi&psf_variant=combo&from_guest_psf=1&short_display_name=Russell&share_intent=1
Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO
Signed. What a shocking and disappointing world we live in!
Captain Colonial
The most fitting thing would be if this “show” were to be attended by no one and lose its backers a vast sum of money.
djm
Signed. I wonder how the Dragons Den feel about supporting the organiser of the freak show now!
jeff oakley
The problem with this is that it will get more than enough people willing to pay money to see it. Like the body works where the German Dr used real people to put on display around the world, I found that idea distasteful as I do this. But unfortunately human nature has always thrived on pointing out differences and the freakshows of the past have been replaced now with reality shows so we can stare at sad people who want to be famous, we will never stop it as money will always be the root of it and people will never change
