Learnt to drive in the red one, no synchro on third, blue one was a few years later.. Anyone recognise the track? Alex Gaskin Posted September 30, 2021 Share Posted September 30, 2021 Track will be Donington, bridge was there since the 70's, but was sold at auction in 2009 (Bought by Chris Evans for £300!), when the track owners wanted to upgrade the track for F1 and wanted to widen that stretch of track, but ran out money and time. Car was on the mini cooper club stand and then in the Happy Birthday made by parking the minis for aerial photo.. Car was the business engine bored out to 1310cc, twin inch and a half SUs ported head and I think around 110bhp! I remember a German registered Moke pulling into the disco in the museum with a louder sound system than the DJ. We were part of the mini carrying event, carrying a bodyshell around a course.
