Ok boys and girls Julie has organised this event, I have my name down to go, so who wants to join me?

If you are interested let me know and we can sort out a time and place to meet up for the run down :t-up:

To All AO's,

I am arranging a visit to The Great British Car Journey museum in Derbyshire on Sunday 24th October for the Peak District area members.

If your area members would like to join us please do, we are meeting at 10am for a 10.30am visit. Details of the museum can be found here https://www.greatbritishcarjourney.com/

The normal entrance fee is £15 each but as we will be a group of >20 we have a reduced fee of £10 on that day, of which you can take advantage of.

I have used also my annual area funds from WSCC to further help pay for my member's admission fee, perhaps you may consider doing the same.

I have arranged the visit with Jane Usher at the museum, who can be contacted directly on 07967370877.

I am tagging @Robin Parker (Red Spider) - Yorkshire AO and @Garry Bunn - Derby & Notts AO as my neighbouring AO's and @Paul Gibney - Lancashire AO and @Nick Clarke - Joint Wirral & North Wales AO as you have expressed an interest in events in the past. @Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Secretary and @Paul Hurdsfield - Joint Manchester AO are already aware of this event.

At this time of the year and with the potential long journey's I have explained that not everyone will come in their Westfield.

Please spread the word and hopefully we can get a good club gathering together.

Thanks for your time

Like Billy No-Mates Margaret and I set off at 8.30 this morning in the light rain for the 54mile journey.

It was well worth  the trip and great to see so many Westfields had made the effort in such dodgy conditions.

The museum itself was like a flippin' ice box, It was much warmer in the Westy with the hood up, heated seat pads, and de-mister blowing hot all the way :d. I do like to be comfortable in my old age .

A good line up of Westfields considering the weather.
