He'll not likely to have transport and I'm not 100% sure about my next trip to Germany and one option could be flying home on the 1st and calling into Sandbach on the way home, else I'd offer to help move Alessandro myself. @LoneWolf Is staying in a hotel in Sandbach an option for you ?
