Out the factory at 190bhp on the Z28, I’ve put alloy heads, bigger carb, inlet, header pips, removed the smog kit, so it’s running a bit more now, although I can’t tell you what because I just don’t know! 
 

5.7 350 small block V8 - About 12mpg, but loads more ‘smiles to the gallon’ 😁

Ah, that takes me back! 😎 Very tidy Z!  The interior and the cloth on those seats are in good shape considering the age.  In hotter US climates, you had the choice of those velour ones that, when you were hot and sweaty, grabbed you like Velcro and made getting out of the car a challenge as you tried to break free; or vinyl seats that after an hour in the sun acted like a full body branding iron. 🤣

Oh, and I’m guessing the car parked on the right of the Z was a mid 70s Ford LTD Crown Victoria, a veritable tart’s boudoir / velour & fake wood palace on wheels connected to a memory foam suspension.  Generally a car your parents had and borrowed as a teenager to go somewhere to “park” with your girlfriend… 😂

yes Crown ‘velour’ Vic! The guys normally drives a Chevy cop car,  the Ford is a genuine ex FBI car and he wears the get up as well.
