My first is Ist Ist at Manchester Accadamy, a very studenty venue, in December

Almost bought tickets for Paloma Faith tomorrow night.

But definitely still plenty of apprehension in our household.

I've been in the theatre, twice. In hope mills, two months and few weeks ago. 250 people with literally no space between each other.

Still alive, and the first time I went I was definitely aprehensive, but i though "sod it" and enjoyed a lot. second time, was like "as normal" as it could be.

I trully encourage you lot to go and be as normal as you can. Don't lick handrails, nor drink from unknown sources, but enjoy!!!

I went to an outdoor concert "Let's Rock Exeter", so even though there were several thousand people it was fine. The thought of going to an indoor gig with lots of people all pressed together is not so appealing anymore.

Went to a concert last week. Sold out, lots of space but great atmosphere. Very studenty,  went with my son, I  was one of the oldest there. No one wearing masks. It was good to get back to normal. Only problem was only one unisex toilet, it was a disabled one, opened a door through to the pub toilets proper after many complaints.

Definitely go, get back to the "old normal"

Went to see Black Stone Cherry last week in Leeds. Yes agree I was a tad nervous. A few wearing masks but not many. Was at the O2 academy so small venue but did get busy. Great to listen to live music again but not booking another one just yet.

Went to a sweaty warehouse reggae/ dancehall gig with 2500 ravers, it was so good to let loose and party. No masks in sight, good to forget about life and have a right good knees-up for a night.

Wife came down with covid the week after, it was more like a cold with added loss of smell, but the sort of thing you'd have gone into work with 2 years ago and not bat an eyelid. We were both double jabbed at the same time but she came down with it and I avoided it. Steered clear of visiting elderly relatives for a week after the official isolation period, much like you'd do with a regular cold/ flu. Wouldn't worry about it unless you have severe underlying health issues, enjoy the night.

I didn't suggest the content was anything more than pure 90s cheese, but at literally walking distance and having been to nothing it was worth a shout

a few years ago, dad was round helping me with a patio, he said, what's that music, I said it's Kim wilde, he said they should turn it down? Then I explained it actually was Kim Wilde, should I pop round and ask her
