all in one weekend event, but not in one race!

awesome weekend, qualified P3 overall in the wet out performing some much bigger cars

however for the races it dried and the slicks and power boys came through. I did manage to get up to P2 from P12 on the grid for one race

However then this happened ;-(

Great to see you at the weekend Mark. That was a real shame for that race, you were going well in the first race.

just the usual wrecked starter motor that bike engines can suffer in a spin all fixed now

race 1 a bit of a better outcome overall class win and 5th overall

I don't suppose there is an easy fix whereby the starter is dis-engaged once run?

bike engines have a strange set up where the starter is permanently engaged to the gearbox with a reverse ratchet clutch to stop the engine spinning the motor, however when going backward it engages and disintegrates the starter internals

Somebody far cleverer than I needs to design one that completely dis- engages, you can't be the only one this happens to.
