McFrancis Posted August 1, 2021 Share Posted August 1, 2021 I was in Selfridges yesterday walking past the the men's perfume section and I saw this engine hoist being used to hold a sign up. The house is fully built using lime mortar and he is carrying out repairs using sand and cement. Doesn't have a clue. I once fell from a similar contraption as an apprentice, the electrician at the time sent me up to change a sodium lamp and the lot collapsed underneath me, he got a rollocking for making me do it from the boss. That could be an excellent plan instigated by some bright spark who conceived a way to get hold of a cheap engine crane.
